When it comes to prayer it is God who enables us to pray effectively.
Our first scriptural references on this is found in Romans chapter 8 verse 15, So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father” (New Living Translation – NLV).
Our second scripture is found in Philippians chapter 2 verse 13, For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him (NLV).
In the book of James chapter 5 verse 16, it reads: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results (NLV).
